Parental Involvement is strongly encouraged. AAT recommend the following for parents:

• Set regular study schedules for your child including weekends.
• Create a home study space for your child that is quiet and conducive to learning.
• Monitor and limit the time your child watches television.
• Provide 20 minutes of quiet reading time at home for your child to complete reading assignments and / or reading books for pleasure and entertainment.
• Obtain a local library card to provide additional reading material for your child.
